Sonia O Sullivan said about the event:
“I really enjoyed the Run Mount Juliet km this weekend. What a beautiful setting for a run, intimate smooth roads on the estate, followed by some challenging hills on the country roads outside. The perfect finish fast downhill return to the Mount Juliet Hunters Yard. For me this run ticks all the boxes, and I would love to come back again in the future”.

The Stook 10 Mile is hosted by Gowran AC and Young Ireland’s GAA club to raise funds for their juvenile squads. Since its inaugural outing in 2012, the race has earned a reputation as a tough but enjoyable mid-winter road race that offers a friendly and welcoming community atmosphere. We look forward to attracting runners across a wide range of abilities. We are very popular with runners from running clubs, bootcamps, triathlon clubs – with various clubs in Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford, Waterford, Laois, Tipperary, Cork, Kildare, Dublin, Wicklow and Meath taking part in 2014.
Since set up we have received great feedback for both the organisation and the route and we hope to further build on this reputation this year.
