Run Mount Juliet is in it’s second year and offers 3 distances half marathon, 10km, and 3km. The following is some race day information taken form

Race Number & Timing Chips:

You will receive your race number and timing chip in the post in the next week.
Please let us know if you have not received your number and timing chip by 12/02/2014.
You can call 056 777 3040 to advise us regarding this.

Race start times:

3km – Start-time is 10am sharp.
You will need to be on site at 9.10am to allow for parking as start line is one mile from parking to start line.

Half marathon – Start-time is 11am.
You will need to be parked and on site before 10am as there will be no traffic allowed on site after 10am.  Start line is one mile walk/ jog from parking.

10km – Start-time is 11:15am.
You will need to be parked and on site before 10am as there will be no traffic allowed on site after 10am.  Start line is one mile walk/ jog from parking.


Please note if you are entered in the 3km and 10km race you must park in Kearney’s field which is the first car park on the right to the entrance gate to Mount Juliet.  This is located opposite the Golf Club entrance (on the L4206 road). Please visit for more details.

If you park in any other car park you will be restricted in leaving the estate while the other two races are in progress.

All other car parks will be marshalled and will be staffed with car park attendants who are instructed to allow no cars or pedestrians out in the pathway of athletes. We would ask that all race participants and supporters obey this so all athletes have a safe and enjoyable race.

There will be a one way system in place on the estate when the roads are reopened to exit which will be clearly sign posted.


There will be a pacer for both events. Pacers will wear high visibility t-shirts/vests so that they are easier to spot. All pacers will have clearly marked finishing times on their back to help you achieve a personal best.

Goody bag and t-shirt collection point:

Half marathon and 10km will be clearly marked.

3km medals will be given to all 3km participants on finish of race.

Timing chips will be collected on race completion; race finishing time will be available on and with a link via

If you gave a mobile number on registration you will receive a text message with your finishing time.

Photos of the event will be uploaded on a few days following the event and on the Mount Juliet Estate Facebook page.
