The Waterford AC Half marathon attracts over 2500 runners and joggers to Waterford. The event serves as the club’s main fundraiser. While money raised go towards the development of our juvenile club and the promotion of athletics in the city. Waterford AC provides over 300 training sessions a year from ages 5 to masters grade. The club are also delighted to be able to support many other organisations whom without their assistance the running of the event would not be possible.

We endeavor to provide a high quality event for great value. Our entry fee is only €28 regardless of when you register. No late registration penalties. For that you will get many of the features of events well in excess of that price. Our course has been measured and certified, the event is fully insured, and is Athletics Ireland Permit approved. Due to popular demand and selling out for the last couple of years we have upped our registration cap to 2750.

For 2019 we will continue our free elite entry and number transfer options. To read more details about these please click here.

We look forward to welcoming you to Waterford on 7th of December 2019.
